Bharat Global Connect 2026 — Africa Edition
IACCI's flagship India-Africa B2B expo and reverse buyer-seller meet, themed "Forging Manufacturing Alliances" — organized with partner Alliance Expo, building on the two-decade legacy of I for Afrika (20 editions completed). Approximately 150 delegates attended from nearly 20 African nations plus Yemen, including the Ethiopian Ambassador to India, alongside the Ambassadors of Angola and Benin.

I for Afrika 2017

Plumbex India 2024
A plumbing and building-materials trade fair where IACCI served as the Africa business partner, bringing African delegates from across the continent to meet Indian manufacturers — capped by an awards and felicitation ceremony recognizing the visiting delegation.
LFZ Lagos Free Zone Roadshow
A roadshow held with the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry to unlock business opportunities in Nigeria through the Lagos Free Zone, at IMC, Mumbai. Dr. Sunanda Rajendran was Guest of Honour, lighting the lamp alongside Chief Guest Mr. Rakesh Mishra (Additional DGFT, Mumbai), Mr. Tejaswi (Lagos Free Zone), and Mr. Mahesh Sanghi.

A ten-day IACCI initiative to deepen business ties with Senegal, one of West Africa's more stable, fast-growing economies. India-Senegal trade has been building steadily on both sides — Indian firms including IFFCO and Jindal Steel & Power already operate there, mainly across phosphates, construction, agribusiness, and pharma, sectors IACCI has targeted for its own member companies. The 9th edition of Gujarat's biennial investor summit, themed "Shaping a New India" and inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with international heads of state and global fund leaders participating (including a video message from Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu). Notably, the summit's own three-day program included a dedicated "Africa Day" track — the specific session IACCI's delegation engaged with directly, alongside the summit's MSME convention and STEM roundtable.
GTTES ITME 2015
The Global Textile Technology & Engineering Show, run by India ITME Society — the non-profit apex body for India's textile engineering industry, founded in 1980 — focused on weaving and processing machinery aimed squarely at small and mid-sized textile manufacturers. IACCI used the show to connect African textile buyers with Indian machinery makers.
Africa Day 2015
IACCI's Gujarat-region observance of Africa Day, the continental holiday marking the founding of the Organisation of African Unity (now the African Union) on 25 May 1963 — used by the chamber each year as an occasion to bring African diplomatic and business contacts together with its Gujarat member base.
